Training Style
The course will use a combination of techniques, such as presentations, global studies, visual illustrations, case studies from leading organisations (such as Tesco, Cisco, DHL, Yell, TNT, Vodafone, Google, Apple, Solve), as well as sharing of participants experience. Furthermore, the course is strengthened by individual and team workshops, in order for participants to embed managerial techniques taught and receive coaching and feedback on their performance.
Content Summary
Module 1: Pre-Course Preparation
Each participant will receive 10 days before the course a link to complete the pioneering on-line values and behavioural assessment methodology MyProfile, which takes 15-20 minutes to be completed. After completing, each participant will receive 2 Reports, highlighting their Work Motivators, Work Behaviours, Work Priorities, Life Priorities and Communication style. The Reports will be used during the course to tailor made the content and learning experience for each participant.
Module 2: The Future Aspect of Management
Within this Module, participants will be exposed to characteristics of successful corporations in the future (based on respective international studies among CEOs), as well as the corresponding competencies that managers shall be required to posses.
Module 3: The Organisational Aspect of Management
Within this Module, participants will get familiar with dynamic aspects of an organisation (systemic, political, human, symbolic), as well structural aspects, in order to be able to identify besides visible also invisible sides of organisational dynamics.
Module 4: The Human Aspect of Management
Within this Module, participants will become more aware on how people think, behave and react, highlighting considerations related to cultural environments, as well as increasing their level of self awareness.
Module 5: Leading & Managing Values
Within this Module, participants will learn how to integrate responsibility into organisation practices and manage based on values and principles.
Module 6: Leading & Managing Strategy
Within this Module, participants will learn fundamental methodologies to handle strategy.
Module 7: Leading & Managing Innovation
Within this Module, participants will understand the benefit of innovative thinking, as well as how to facilitate it.
Module 8: Leading & Managing Change
Within this Module, participants will learn how to handle change effectively according to a structured process.
Module 9: Leading & Managing People
Within this Module, participants will familiarize with methodologies to motivate oneself and others, as well as manage, communicate and interact with other employees in order to avoid or handle conflicts and communicate on a one-to-one basis with colleagues.
Module 10: Leading & Managing Teams
Within this Module, participants will familiarise with methodologies to organise and manage time and cross functional project teams, as well as creating a positive and synergetic team spirit.
