Mohammad has more than forty years of professional experience, as a Management expert in the fields of Strategy, Performance Management and Shared Services, in organisations such as ADNOC and EAD.

Between 1982 to 1999, he worked for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) holding various positions in several departments (Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Exploration & Production, General Manager's Office). During this period, Mohammad had the opportunity to work very closely with ADNOC’s leadership contributing to the success of the departments he worked for. Among other, Mohammad:

  • Managed the development of the first LAN Human Resources system for ADNOC.
  • Managed the implementation of ADNOC’s financial system (JD Edwards OneWorld).
  • Represented ADNOC on the Finance Committee (FINCO) of ADCO.

Between 1999 to 2014, Mohammad worked for the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD) serving as Director of various departments (Strategy & Policy, Finance, IT, Procurement). During his service, among other, Mohammad initiated and led various cross functional Projects such as:

  • The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group (ADSG), with over 30 organisational members, a partnership between public, private and not for profit organizations to promote and champion sustainability.
  • The Abu Dhabi Global Environmental Data Initiative (AGEDI), in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), bridging the gap in environmental data between developed and developing countries.
  • The development and launch of the first Abu Dhabi Government eServices website.
  • Issuing the first Sustainability Report of a Government Entity in the Arab World.
  • Ensuring the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence for large organizations.

Between 2014 to 2016, Mohammad worked for the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA), serving as Strategy & Performance Advisor to the department Chairman, and between 2016 to 2020, he worked for the Abu Dhabi Food Security Center, serving as Strategy & Performance Advisor to the Managing Director.

Since 2018, Mohamed has been an Associate of STREAM, participating in international management projects, with emphasis in the areas of Strategy & Performance Management.

Mohammad holds an Executive MBA, from Western Reserve University-Cleveland-Ohio-USA, speaks fluently English and Arabic and lives in the UAE since 1981.
